Jerry has spent over a decade managing healthcare portfolios and analyzing healthcare companies, including with Minerva Capital Partners, Roth Capital, and Rodman & Renshaw. Most recently, Jerry has set up and managed industry-focused private equity funds, including the Helix Healthcare fund which focuses on medical devices and biotechnology, with over a dozen Chinese portfolio companies. Jerry learned about Lazarus 3D while looking for investment opportunities in healthcare. Impressed with Lazarus 3D's technology and growth potential, Jerry quickly agreed to both to help fund the expansion of Lazarus 3D and to assist in designing and implementing a financial strategy for the company.
Daniel trained in Mexico city with a masters in Surgical Education and a sub-specialty in Robotic surgery. Daniel now works as a Urologist specializing in Endourology, minimally invasive and Robotic surgery. He is heavily involved in resident training at Zambrano Hellion Medical center where he has used Lazarus 3D models to train residents in tumor enucleation, cystoscopy, and is planning a study on kidney stone removal.
Jennifer Vondran is a biomedical and materials science engineer by training. She is an experienced (10+ years) life sciences and health care technology and management consultant. Her objective is to safeguard the commercial success of new products and technologies. She is passionate about helping teams mitigate program risks and achieve critical milestones. Jennifer is currently a Partner at Keystone Scientific Inc. Jennifer’s clients (from start-ups to emerging/mid-size to multi-tier/global, spanning multiple sectors) value the tools and techniques she employs to solve problems and ensure successful outcomes. She actively coaches and empowers teams and individuals to realize their ultimate potential.
Larry is a successful entrepreneur with 25+ years of experience starting and growing companies. His most recent position was Chief Executive Officer at Trelligence, Inc., a Texas based company focused on design software for the construction market. Prior to that, he was founder of Modulus, a software company focused on the message-oriented middleware market. Modulus had several Fortune 500 companies as customers, and was sold to a network firm. Larry has received several awards including the Rice Young Engineer’s award and NASA innovation award. He has a BA in Computer Science, and BS, MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rice University.
Dr. J. Ronald V. Zaneveld is professor emeritus at the College of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences of Oregon State University. He is co-founder of SeaTech, Inc. and Wet Labs, Inc, companies that produce underwater measurement devices primarily based on optical technologies. Wet Labs, with some 60 employees was acquired by Sea Bird, Inc., a subsidiary of Danaher, Inc . Dr Zaneveld has published more than 125 articles in the peer reviewed literature. He is recipient of the prestigious Jerlov award for excellence in Ocean Optics.
